I am inspired by finding new narratives through repurposing and collage, gathering elements to tell the story.

Intuitively, I connect these together, sometimes with gentle humor,
always with a calmness of spirit and presence.
My work with art and words has been evolving for several years.
This includes my six word series, TeaBagQuotes, the word magnet series and the Journal series (using actual pages from my journals).
Commercial venues included a line of notecards and T-shirts called “catnaps…”, which were created from my cat drawings, and “peas & carrots…”, textile art created from drawings on fabric, using machine-sewn thread layers to create depth and character. In addition, I was a freelance designer for Bath & Body Works, creating product bag prototypes, widening my creative boundaries and pushing my skill set to the next level.
